The scariest Resident Evil game in the series. This is when Ethan Winters had 0+ expereince in battling virus monsters. Battling monsters in a small house in the South with little weaponry and experience...abosolutely not. But later on you get used to it. This may be an extremely unpopular opinion, but me personally , I think the worldbuilding of RE8 was more fun to play than RE7. "BOOOOO" I get it, I get it. In the horror perspective, RE7 does a fantastic job of letting viewers see the perspective of a regular citizen who is complete stranger to fighting monsters. The family was much more terrifying than any of the antagonists in RE8.I don't know why being chased by a middle-aged man with a chainsaw has me holding my breath, while shooting out huge mold dragon doesn't frighten me.
